VACUUM DISTILLATION UNITS

DESCRIPTION:  BaronUSA BA-VDU Series purifiers are a single stage, multi-pass, vacuum distillation systems designed for purification of mineral based rolling oils and additives.  They are used to separate two or more hydrocarbon products from each other using temperature and vacuum.  Typical applications include:

• Removal of grease and other lubricating oils from aluminum foil rolling lubricants.

• Removal of transformer oil from kerosene / Isopar used in vapor phase drying systems.

• Removal of jet fuel contamination in hydraulic fluids or other base oils.

Any two or more hydrocarbons with sufficient differential in their boiling point ranges can be separated by these systems.  Baron can also provide settling tanks ahead of the VDU for settling out of free water to protect the VDU from processing ‘wet’ stock.
