Function

The Baron BA-FC series is a line of compact, modular filtration systems for a wide variety of fluid filtration applications. A variety of filter, pump and material types are available in configurations and combinations custom-suited to your application.

Baron BA-FC series filtration systems are compact, high-quality systems designed to perform in your application. Typical fluid applications include:

• Hydraulic oil reservoirs
• Cutting fluids
• Grinding fluids
• Gear oils
• Lube oils
• Dielectric oils

Available Components

We can provide a wide variety of stand-alone filter housings, pump sets, filter elements or entire packaged systems. Packaged systems can be stationary, castor-mounted, wheel-mounted or trailer-mounted. Heavy-duty positive-displacement pumps are typically direct-driven by a TEFC motor. Standard available flow rates include 5,10,15, 20, 30 and 50 USGPM. Others are available upon request.

A variety of filter housings are available:

• Lightweight spun housings are available on small portable systems
• ASME code housings
• Standpipes to hold 1, 2, 3, 6 or 14 standard 6" dia. x 18" long elements or custom standpipes for the elements of your choice

Duplex Filter Housings

• Filter housings are available stand-alone or packaged as single units or duplex units (series or parallel).
• Various filter media is available including 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 10, 20 and 30 micron elements. Water absorbing elements and fuller's earth elements are available, as well as self-cleaning disc filters, basket strainers and centrifugal separators.
• Filter housings can be equipped with an automatic air release, drain valve and differential pressure gauge (with or without switch contacts)
• Drip containment plans are provided on most packaged systems
• Liquid flow sight indicator

Duplex 2 High Filters

• Inlet suction strainer to protect the pump
• Inlet and outlet isolation valves
• Clean oil sampling valve
• Flow regulating valve
• Rate and totalizing type flow meters
• Kamlock couplers with dust caps
• Pressure gauges
• Motor starters, electrical cord and plugs
• Various lengths and diameters of suction and discharge hoses
• Hose reels both storage-type and live-type; manual, spring or electric rewind
• Operating and maintenance manual

Various mobility options such as:

• Stationary skidded
• Castor-mounted
• Two-wheel hand cart-mounted
• Four-wheel dolly-mounted
• Trailerized with any choice of open-top, tarp-sided or hard-sided trailers
